Abstract: The present invention relates to an assistive walking stick for visually impaired people. The device comprises a handle and battery (100), a solar panel (101), a camera (102) module, a buzzer (103), an ultrasonic sensor (104), and a foot base (105). The ultrasonic sensor (104) continuously detects obstacles in front of the user and measures the distance between the user and the object within a range of up to 4 meters. The camera (102) module, an ESP32-CAM, captures real-time images of the surrounding environment, which are processed using AI-based object recognition to identify objects such as people, chairs, furniture, or other obstacles. When an obstacle is detected, the buzzer (103) provides audio and vibration alerts to the user. The solar panel (101) is integrated with the rechargeable battery housed in the handle and battery (100) to provide backup power and extend operating time. The device operates through a simple networkindependent architecture requiring no mobile network, providing a lightweight, energy-efficient, and cost-effective assistive solution for safe and independent navigation.
