MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641109329 A) filed by Killakathu Ramanathan Babu; and Nithya Babu on September 11, 2026, for An Assembly For Noise Suppression In A Pneumatic Elevator Cabin And A Method Thereof.
Inventor includes Killakathu Ramanathan Babu.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: An assembly (100) for noise suppression in a pneumatic elevator cabin is disclosed. The assembly (100) includes a housing unit (105) mounted on an elevator cabin (110). The housing unit (105) includes a frame (115) having a plurality of guided pillars (120), a plate (125) secured to the frame (115), and an aperture (135) provided at a central portion of the plate (125). The aperture (135) defines a passage that enables air from a region above the elevator cabin to be drawn into a motor box frame unit (140). The motor box frame unit (140) extracts the air and generate a vacuum above the elevator cabin (110). A silencer assembly (145) attenuates noise generated during air extraction by directing airflow and associated sound waves through isolated airflow sections. Further, the housing unit (105) includes an EVO box unit (170), a plurality of polycarbonate sheets (180), and an overload unit (185). FIG. 1
