Abstract: ABSTRACT An Assembly for Mounting a Spare Wheel of a Vehicle The present invention relates to an assembly (100) for mounting a spare wheel (50). The assembly (100) includes at least one mounting bracket configured to be attached to a connecting member (10) of the vehicle. The mounting bracket includes a base portion (112) and a holding member (118) attached to the base portion (112) and extending away and downwardly from the base portion (112). The holding member (118) being configured to pass through a central bore (52) of the spare wheel (50) and engage with a rim portion (54) to hold the spare wheel (50). The assembly (100) includes a fastening member (140) and a coupling member (150). The fastening member 140 is configured to be fixedly attached to the at least one mounting bracket. The coupling member (150) is configured to pass through the central bore (52) of the spare wheel (50) and connect with the fastening member (140) for mounting the spare wheel (50).
