Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-integrated handheld Worth Four Dot Test (WFDT) apparatus for quantitative assessment of suppression scotoma. The apparatus comprises a handheld torch body (101), a four-dot light source assembly (102) configured to generate one red, two green and one white visual dots, an inbuilt camera module (103), a distance sensing module (104), a luminance sensing and control module (105), and a microcontroller and artificial intelligence processor (106). The camera module (103) captures ocular responses and fixation information, while the distance sensing module (104) determines object-to-eye distance. The processor (106) utilizes the inter-dot distance and viewing distance to determine angular scotoma extent and employs luminance-threshold analysis to assess suppression depth. The apparatus further recognizes visual response patterns, generates a quantitative digital scotoma map, and provides test results through a communication interface (107) and data storage module (108), thereby enabling automated, portable and reproducible binocular vision assessment.
