MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611066941 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi on May 28, 2026, for An Artificial Intelligence Enabled Renewable Energy Management System.

Inventors include Sanjay Kumar Singh; Rajeev Kumar Singh; Vivek Nandan Lal; Anantha Padmanabhan N K; and Aman Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides an artificial intelligence enabled renewable energy management system (100) comprising an isolated DC-DC converter (102) that includes a high-frequency transformer for regulated power transfer from the photovoltaic energy source (101), controller unit (107) is configured to perform maximum power point tracking, control bidirectional power transfer between the photovoltaic energy source (101), the battery energy storage system (108), the utility grid (106), and the three-phase load (106), and operate the three-phase voltage source inverter (104) via a synchronous one-arm switching protocol for reducing switching losses and artificial intelligence based battery prognostic module includes a dilation-enhanced temporal convolutional network and a gated recurrent unit configured to estimate at least one of remaining useful life, state of charge, and state of health of the battery energy storage system (108), thereby managing renewable energy via artificial intelligence.
