Abstract: The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence-Based Intelligent Performance Appraisal and Workforce Evaluation System for enhancing employee productivity in manufacturing industries. The invention integrates workforce information obtained from Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices, biometric attendance systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), quality management systems, safety monitoring systems, and employee feedback platforms into a unified analytical framework. The collected workforce data are preprocessed and analyzed using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Explainable Artificial Intelligence, and Predictive Analytics techniques to perform continuous and objective employee performance evaluation. The system generates multidimensional performance scores, predicts employee productivity, promotion readiness, leadership potential, workforce utilization, burnout probability, and attrition risk, and provides explainable appraisal decisions along with personalized recommendations for employee training, career development, workforce allocation, succession planning, and performance improvement. The proposed invention minimizes evaluator bias, improves transparency and decision accuracy, supports continuous workforce monitoring, and enhances organizational productivity and strategic human resource management in Industry 4.0-enabled manufacturing environments. The invention provides a scalable and intelligent framework for real-time workforce evaluation and productivity enhancement.
