Abstract: An artificial intelligence-based distributed environmental compliance system for factory air pollution detection and enforcement provides automated, round-the-clock, evidence-backed industrial emissions monitoring. The system utilizes a distributed grid of N sensory data collector devices (SDCD) [10] paired with a smaller group of P vision data collector devices (VDCD) [30], all sustained autonomously by integrated solar battery power management units. The sensory data collector devices [10] track physical changes in air quality, harmful gases, and noise, while the vision data collector devices [30] capture synchronized high-resolution optical images and thermal infrared heat patterns of factory chimneys and waste zones. Sensed metrics and visual media are indexed with real-time clock stamps and GPS locations before being securely sent via Wi-Fi to a cloud server [50] for noise filtering, normalization, and structural cross-correlation. A trained artificial intelligence processing core [70] runs a hybrid machine learning ensemble model to process this multi-source data, accurately separating standard factory operations from illegal pollution incidents. When a violation is identified, the system automatically builds an unalterable digital evidence packet—complete with raw sensor logs, visual proofs, location tags, and prediction confidence scores—and sends immediate compliance alerts directly to regulatory agencies to expedite penalties and legal enforcement.
