MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641097835 A) filed by Dr. Hatkar Balaji on August 13, 2026, for An Artificial Intelligence-Based Adaptive Mathematics Learning, Assessment And Personalized Skill Development System For School Students.
Inventor includes Dr. Hatkar Balaji.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: BSTRACT — The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence-based adaptive mathematics learning, assessment and personalized skill development system for school students. The system maintains an evolving student competency profile, maps grade-level mathematics through a concept knowledge graph, conducts diagnostic assessment, analyses response correctness and behaviour, estimates concept-specific mastery, classifies learning errors, dynamically adjusts question difficulty, generates or selects mathematically validated questions, creates personalized learning pathways and worksheets, recommends remedial interventions, predicts examination performance, and provides voice-enabled multilingual tutoring. Student responses may be analysed using correctness, response time, attempts, hint usage, difficulty, solution steps, retention performance, historical accuracy and error frequency. A knowledge graph identifies prerequisite gaps when weakness in an advanced concept originates from an earlier concept. Teacher, student and parent interfaces present actionable analytics. In low-connectivity environments, selected assessment and adaptive functions may operate locally and synchronize when connectivity becomes available. The invention thereby provides continuous, individualized, concept- level mathematics learning and assessment rather than fixed instruction based only on aggregate marks.
