Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) to evaluate surface dryness of painted surfaces. The apparatus (100) includes a fixed base assembly (102) to ensure horizontal alignment of a test panel with a painted surface. The apparatus (100) further includes an adjustable mount (104) in connection with the fixed base assembly (102) to hold the test panel and comprising of a calibrated hinge to allow tilt movement of the test panel at a pre-defined range of angles. A number of ballotini particles are glued over the painted surface and gently brushed when the adjustable mount (104) is titled at the pre-defined range of angles. {Figure 1}
