Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) for patient transfer, assisted walking, seating, and staircase navigation. The apparatus (100) comprises a steel frame (1) having a low center of gravity, a wheeled chassis with lockable wheels (4), and suction cups (2) with suction brackets (3) for secure anchoring. An articulated lifting arm includes a boom tube (13) with a telescopic boom bar (14), pulleys (10), and a hanger (15) for supporting a removable patient support sling (24). An actuation mechanism comprising a linear actuator (16), gearbox (8), a motor (23), polymer rope (12), and battery (20) facilitate controlled lifting based on Pascal’s principle. A control panel (6) comprising a joystick (31) is operatively coupled to the actuation mechanism. A staircase navigation assembly with a large pulley (29) enables inclined movement on the ramp (28). The apparatus (100) allows safe, stable, and versatile patient handling through coordinated rotational and translational movements.
