MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631070125 A) filed by Switching Avo Electro Power Limited on June 04, 2026, for An Apparatus For Isolated Power Conversion.
Inventor includes Kundu, Champak.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus (100) for isolated power conversion that receives electrical energy through an Alternating Current (AC) input (102) and supplies the received electrical energy to a semi-bridgeless Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter (104) for generating a regulated Direct Current (DC) link voltage with improved power quality. The regulated DC link voltage feeds a full-bridge isolated Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converter (106), which converts the regulated DC link voltage into a high-frequency Alternating Current power signal. A high-frequency transformer (108) receives the high-frequency power signal through a primary winding (108-2) and transfers isolated electrical energy toward a secondary winding (108-4) and a third winding (108-6). The secondary winding (108-4) cooperates with a battery interface stage (110) for battery charging and discharging operations. Simultaneously, the third winding (108-6) supplies isolated DC power to an inverter stage (112) for conversion into a regulated AC output (114).
