MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621057887 A) filed by Indore Institute Of Science And Technology on May 06, 2026, for An Apparatus For Generating Electrical Energy.
Inventors include Ridha Khan; Ankit Prajapat; and Dr. Shweta Agrawal.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: AN APPARATUS FOR GENERATING ELECTRICAL ENERGY The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) for generation of electrical energy using airflow induced by passing vehicles. The apparatus (100) comprises a spiral-flow stator (101) having a plurality of guide vanes arranged in a helical configuration to direct incoming airflow through a flow passage toward a primary vertical-axis wind turbine assembly (102). The primary vertical-axis wind turbine assembly (102) includes a rotor having a central shaft (106) and a plurality of helical blades configured to generate rotational mechanical energy. A generator unit (103) is mechanically coupled to the central shaft (106) to convert the rotational mechanical energy into electrical energy. The apparatus (100) enables efficient utilization of vehicular-induced airflow for continuous energy generation and environmental purification. FIG. 1A
