Inventors include Abhilash C B; Rohitaksha K; and Abhishek P.
The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: AN APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PAEDIATRIC HEALTH ASSESSMENT WITH AUTOMATIC SENSOR ALIGNMENT The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for paediatric health assessment. The apparatus includes a sensor assembly (201) comprising a depth sensing module (301) configured to generate spatial mapping data of a paediatric subject (101). The apparatus includes a processing unit (202) electrically coupled to the depth sensing module (301), configured to receive the spatial mapping data and determine a target position of a predetermined anatomical reference point of the paediatric subject (101) based on the spatial mapping data. The apparatus includes an actuator mechanism (203) electrically coupled to the processing unit (202) and configured to automatically align the sensor assembly (201) with the predetermined anatomical reference point based on the target position to enable non-contact health parameter measurement. The method includes generating spatial mapping data, determining target position of anatomical reference point, and automatically aligning the sensor assembly (201) via the actuator mechanism (203).
