Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus (100) for adaptive multistage air purification. The apparatus (100) includes a gas inlet (110), an ozone generator (120), and mixing chamber (130) forming an ozone-treated gas stream. A wet-scrubbing drum (140) contains aqueous reducing solution and receives ozone-treated gas stream through tangential vortex inlet assembly (150) having variable-speed fan (210) and tangential l nozzle, thereby establishing cyclonic gas flow and promoting gas-liquid contact. A liquid-distribution arrangement introduces aqueous reducing solution to remove contaminants and neutralize residual ozone. A filtration cartridge (160) is positioned downstream of wet-scrubbing drum (140), followed by clean-gas outlet (170). A sensor network includes outlet ozone sensor, differential-pressure sensor, and liquid-quality sensor. A control system varies ozone output, monitors outlet ozone concentration, reduces or terminates ozone generation above safety threshold, and determines fouling or remaining operational life of filtration cartridge (160) from rate of change of pressure differential.
