Abstract: ABSTRACT AN ANTICOAGULANT COMPOSITION AND A PROCESS FOR ITS PREPARATION The present disclosure relates to an anticoagulant composition comprising phlorotannin from Sargassum plagiophyllum, Rauwolfia serpentina extract, Ocimum basilicum extract and oleoresins. The anticoagulant composition exhibits antioxidant activity along with anticoagulant activity, without any side effects and hence is safe. The present disclosure further provides a simple and cost effective process for the preparation of the anticoagulant composition.
