Abstract: ABSTRACT AN ANTI-THEFT SMART PLUG POINT SYSTEM FOR GRID AND A METHOD THEREOF The present disclosure relates to a smart plug-point system for secure and efficient electric vehicle (EV) charging. The system comprises a base unit (108) mounted on a wall. The base unit (108) comprises a miniature circuit breaker (108a) (MCB), a residual current breaker with overcurrent (108b), a socket (108c) for EV charging cables, a power switch(108d), and an LED indicator for grid status. A door unit (110) extends from the base, configured to a motorized locking mechanism controlled by a battery (110c) powered control unit (110a), and ensures secure access during power outages. The system (100) includes a grid monitoring unit (104) with sensors to analyze real-time frequency and grid stress and dynamically adjust charging schedules. A safety module (106) with a smoke and temperature sensor (106b) prevents hazards. The user can manage charging preferences, receive alerts, and control the system remotely via a mobile app or NFC.
