MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611059439 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology Pharmacy Institute on May 10, 2026, for An Anti Microbial Topical Gel Formulation.

Abstract: The invention relates to an anti microbial topical gel formulation system comprising an aqueous gel base reservoir, polymeric structuring network, anti microbial active phase, humectant phase, pH control module, and wetting and dispersion module. The formulation provides uniform active distribution, controlled viscosity, skin-compatible pH, and localized retention after dermal application. The gel spreads under manual shear and forms a retained topical film layer for contact with the selected skin region. The system is suitable for pharmaceutical manufacture, filling, storage, and topical anti microbial use.
