The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an anti-corrosive composite coating designed to enhance the corrosion resistance and hydrophobicity of metal substrates, particularly carbon steel. The composite coating comprises green graphite (GG) derived from residual agro-biomass and hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN). The GG/BN composite is synthesized through a thermal treatment process, followed by ball milling to form a fine powder. This powder is then dispersed in ethanol, mixed with epoxy resin, and combined with a hardener to form the final composite coating. The resulting coating offers significant improvements in corrosion protection, surface uniformity, and hydrophobicity, providing a sustainable and effective alternative to traditional coatings.
