The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: AN ANODE SUB-ASSEMBLY FOR A FUEL CELL SYSTEM, CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THEREOF Abstract The fuel cell system 100 comprises at least one fuel cell 110 with an anode 102 to which gaseous fuel is supplied through an anode path 140 and a cathode 104 to which oxygen is supplied through a cathode path during operation. The fuel cell system 100 comprises a recirculation path 142 to recirculate exhaust gases back to the anode 102 through the anode path 140. The recirculation path 142 comprises an ARB 114 to pump the exhaust gases to the anode path 140. The anode sub-assembly 144, characterized in that, comprises at least one adsorbent 118 positioned downstream of the ARB 114. The at least one adsorbent 118 adsorbs contaminants present in the exhaust gases before being recirculated back to the anode 102 through the anode path 140. In other words the at least one adsorbent 118 is positioned between the ARB 114 and the jet pump 134.
