Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode material. Specifically, the present invention relates to a MoO3-x-COF material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a MoO3-x -Tp Azo COF nanocomposite material for lithium-ion battery applications as an anode. Further, the present invention relates to a process for the preparation of MoO3-x-COF material. Also, the MoO3-x -COF material is synthesized by a mechanochemical process which is simple, cost- effective, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and scalable, making it suitable for large-scale production.
