Abstract: ABSTRACT [0016] An interactive story-generation system is disclosed that transforms educational concepts into engaging, personalized narratives for young learners. A user supplies a prompt expressing a theme, character idea, or learning topic. A transformer-based language model expands the prompt into a coherent story containing characters, dialogue, and educational content. Key descriptive phrases are automatically extracted from the story and supplied to a latent diffusion model that synthesizes corresponding illustrations. The completed text is then converted into natural-sounding speech by a neural text-to-speech service. The resulting multimodal package text, images, and audio is presented through a web interface that permits iterative refinement according to further user choices. By allowing children to influence story direction while reinforcing subject matter, the system increases engagement, supports knowledge retention, and accommodates diverse learning styles.
