Inventor includes Dr. Deepika Dhamija.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-powered cognitive-emotional adaptive learning and Engagement Prediction System that continuously monitors, analyses, predicts, and optimises student learning in online educational environments. The system comprises Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Learning Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Emotion Recognition, Predictive Analytics, and Adaptive Learning into a unified platform. It collects learner data from Learning Management Systems, assessments, attendance records, communication logs, and interaction data to evaluate academic performance, engagement, and emotional state. A Cognitive-Emotional Learning Profile (CELP) is dynamically generated and continuously updated to represent each learner's knowledge level, learning preferences, emotional tendencies, and engagement patterns. Based on this profile, the system delivers personalized learning content, predicts risks such as disengagement, poor performance, and dropout, and automatically initiates interventions including faculty alerts, chatbot assistance, mentoring, and personalized study plans. An Ethical AI Governance Layer ensures transparency, fairness, explainability, privacy protection, and bias mitigation, while a Faculty Analytics Dashboard provides real-time insights for timely academic support, thereby improving learning outcomes, student engagement, and retention.
