Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence (AI) integrated mobile system and method for early detection of apple scab disease using leaf image analysis. The system comprises a smartphone (101) serving as a core processing and imaging unit, an integrated camera module (102) configured to capture images of apple leaves, and optional accessories including a macro lens attachment (103), a colour reference card (104), and a protective case (105). A processing unit executed on the smartphone performs image acquisition guidance, image preprocessing including normalization and colour correction, and disease detection using a trained convolutional neural network optimized for on-device inference. The system further includes a geolocation and mapping component for associating diagnostic results with geographic coordinates and time information, and an optional data synchronization module for selective transmission of stored diagnostic data to a remote server. The invention enables real-time, offline detection of apple scab disease.
