Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-enabled intelligent cable-driven robotic system for scientific crime scene documentation. The system comprises a pair of cables configured for temporary, tool-free installation through removable anchor assemblies, a carriage configured to traverse the cables, an imaging device mounted on the carriage, a control module, an AI-based object detection processing module, a companion user interface, a hashing module and a report generation module. The imaging device continuously captures imagery during traversal, while the processing module automatically detects candidate items without requiring manual import or upload of captured imagery. Each candidate detection is presented through the companion user interface for confirmation or rejection by a user. A cryptographic hash value is generated only for a confirmed detection. A first data pathway conveys captured imagery substantially in real time to a remote user independently of the confirmation and hashing process. Confirmed detections, corresponding imagery, hash values and positional references are compiled into a structured output record for documentation and subsequent review.
