MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641076363 A) filed by Sr University on June 19, 2026, for An Ai-Enabled Healthcare Prediction System For Enhancing Patient Outcomes Through Federated Explainable Clinical Bert.
Inventors include Koochana Navya; Dr. Johnson Kolluri; and Kasetti Silpa.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is an AI-enabled healthcare prediction system (100) for enhancing patient outcomes through federated explainable clinical BERT on secure EHR data, the system (100) comprises a data acquisition module (102) configured to receive structured and unstructured healthcare data from multiple healthcare institutions. A data preprocessing and security module (104) performs normalization, anonymization, encryption, de-identification, and secure storage of patient data. A Clinical BERT-based language understanding module (106) extracts medical concepts, disease indicators, treatment information, and contextual clinical features. A federated learning module (108) trains a global predictive model. A secure communication module (110) enables encrypted parameter exchange, while a model aggregation module (112) updates the global model. A disease prediction and clinical outcome assessment module (114) predicts health risks and outcomes. An explainable AI module (116) provides interpretable predictions, and a clinical decision support module (118) assists healthcare professionals in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management.
