Abstract: ABSTRACT An AI-Enabled C-Reactive Protein Monitoring and Inflammation Risk Prediction Device The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-enabled device for monitoring C-reactive protein (CRP) levels and predicting inflammation-related health risks in a subject. The device integrates a biological sensing subsystem, sample-processing subsystem, electronic control unit, communication interface, and artificial intelligence-based prediction engine within a portable monitoring platform. A biological sample obtained from the subject, preferably blood, plasma, serum, or another suitable body fluid, is introduced into a disposable or replaceable sensing cartridge configured to interact with CRP-specific recognition elements. The resulting biochemical interaction generates a measurable optical, electrochemical, electrical, or other sensor response corresponding to the CRP concentration. A processing controller receives the sensor signal, performs signal conditioning, calibration, noise reduction, and concentration estimation, and communicates the resulting CRP measurement to an AI processing module. The AI processing module analyzes the CRP measurement together with optionally acquired physiological, demographic, clinical, medication, symptom, and historical measurements to generate an inflammation-risk score. The system can classify the subject into predefined risk categories and provide an indication of increasing, stable, or decreasing inflammatory status based on longitudinal measurements. A display and/or wireless communication interface presents the measured CRP concentration, trend information, risk classification, and alerts to an authorized user or healthcare professional. The device may store longitudinal measurements in local or remote memory and update prediction models using validated datasets. The invention is intended to facilitate rapid, accessible, and data-driven monitoring of inflammatory status, support clinical decision-making, enable early identification of subjects requiring further assessment, and reduce dependence on repeated laboratory-based testing while maintaining appropriate calibration and quality-control procedures.
