MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611102402 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University on August 25, 2026, for An Ai Driven Cybersecurity Gateway Apparatus For Intrusion Detection And Prevention.
Inventors include Dr. Arastu Sharma; and Dr. Sohit Agarwal.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: An AI-driven cybersecurity gateway apparatus (1000) is disclosed for intelligent intrusion detection and prevention. The apparatus comprises a traffic acquisition module (1010), preprocessing module (1020), feature extraction module (1030), AI-based detection engine (1040), threat intelligence module (1050), contextual correlation module (1060), risk scoring module (1070), policy decision engine (1080), and prevention and enforcement module (1090). The apparatus analyzes network behavior, determines dynamic threat scores, identifies anomalous or malicious activities, and automatically permits, monitors, limits, quarantines, isolates, or blocks communications according to configurable security policies. An adaptive learning module (1130) further improves behavioral detection using validated security-event feedback.
