Abstract: AN AI-DRIVEN ADAPTIVE PREDICTIVE SYSTEM FOR PROACTIVE CRIME PREVENTION USING MULTI-SOURCE DATA FUSION AND EXPLAINABLE ANALYTICS The present invention discloses an AI-driven adaptive predictive system for proactive crime prevention using multi-source data fusion and explainable analytics. The system comprises a data acquisition module, a multi-source data fusion engine, an adaptive AI prediction engine, an explainable AI module, a decision support system, and a feedback learning loop. The system integrates historical crime records, surveillance feeds, IoT sensor data, environmental information, and geospatial datasets to generate spatial and temporal crime risk predictions. Explainable analytics provide interpretable insights, confidence measures, and reasoning pathways to support law enforcement decision-making. A continuous feedback mechanism monitors outcomes and retrains predictive models to improve accuracy over time. The invention enables intelligent resource allocation, proactive intervention strategies, enhanced situational awareness, and scalable deployment across smart-city infrastructures for improving public safety and crime prevention.
