Abstract: A system and method for AI-based food demand forecasting maintains a dynamically updated memory comprising historical demand patterns, consumption data, prior forecasting outcomes, wastage records, and contextual events. Current operational data is processed by an artificial intelligence forecasting engine together with contextually retrieved memory to predict demand for one or more food items over a planning period. An adaptive resource planning module determines food quantities, ingredient requirements, inventory allocation, procurement requirements, and storage utilization based on the predicted demand. The system compares predicted demand with actual consumption and resource utilization to generate feedback for updating the memory. The updated memory is selectively utilized in subsequent forecasting cycles, thereby providing a memory-augmented adaptive forecasting mechanism that improves subsequent demand and resource-planning operations based on prior operational outcomes.
