MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631107744 A) filed by Dream Institute Of Technology; and Dr. Dipankar Sarkar on September 08, 2026, for An Ai-Based Remote Patient Monitoring And Alert System Utilizing Predictive Analytics And Wearable Sensor Data.

Inventor includes Dr. Dipankar Sarkar.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based remote patient monitoring and alert system configured to acquire physiological data from wearable sensors and perform predictive analysis for identifying potential health-risk conditions. The system comprises a wearable sensor module, data acquisition module, communication module, preprocessing module, AI-based predictive analytics module, health-risk assessment module, alert generation module, data storage module, and remote monitoring interface. The wearable sensor module continuously or periodically acquires physiological information from a patient and communicates the acquired data to the data acquisition module. The preprocessing module processes the received sensor data for subsequent evaluation by the AI-based predictive analytics module. The predictive analytics module evaluates the processed physiological information to identify patterns and potential changes in patient condition. The health-risk assessment module determines a potential health-risk condition, and the alert generation module generates an alert when such condition is identified. The generated alert is communicated to an authorized remote monitoring interface, thereby facilitating continuous remote patient monitoring using wearable sensor data and predictive analytics.
