Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based Psychological Autopsy Automation System and method for forensic reconstruction of suicide and suspicious deaths. The system integrates forensic pathology findings, behavioural evidence, witness interviews, medical records, psychiatric history, digital forensic artefacts and electronic communications into a unified investigation platform. Natural language processing extracts behavioural indicators from structured and unstructured interview data, while machine learning models generate probabilistic assessments relating to suicide, accidental death, homicide and staged suicide. A timeline reconstruction engine chronologically correlates multidisciplinary evidence, and an explainable artificial intelligence module provides transparent evidence attribution and confidence metrics. An automated reporting module generates standardized medico-legal psychological autopsy reports with preserved chain-of-custody information and cryptographic authentication. The invention improves investigation consistency, reduces subjective bias, enhances evidentiary correlation, and supports legally defensible forensic decision-making through a reproducible computer-implemented workflow.
