Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based image processing system for college bus security. AI-powered security system designed to enhance safety, authentication, and operational efficiency in college bus transportation. The system integrates facial recognition technology to automatically identify students during boarding and verifies their bus pass validity in real time, eliminating manual checks and preventing unauthorized entry. A centralized database stores facial data, pass details, and student location coordinates, enabling seamless decision-making. The system further incorporates continuous GPS tracking of the bus and compares its live location with each student’s registered coordinates. When the bus approaches a student’s pickup point, an automated WhatsApp notification is sent to ensure timely boarding. In cases of unrecognized faces or expired passes, instant alerts are delivered to the driver for immediate action. By combining AI image processing, location intelligence, and automated communication, this invention provides a secure, efficient, and technology-driven solution for modernizing student transportation systems.
