Abstract: AI-Based Auto Invigilation System for Institutions is an Intelligent Examination Monitoring System that automates and improves invigilation with an AI camera module, Mitsubishi FX5U PLC and cloud technology. The AI camera is constantly scanning candidates to detect specific suspicious behaviours like multiple persons, mobile phone use, abnormal behaviours, frequent face loss and unauthorised movement. Detected events are processed and sent to the FX5U PLC for the local control and event triggering. Examination related alerts, images, timestamps and status information can be securely sent to a cloud based platform for centralized monitoring, storing, analyzing and reporting. The system minimizes manual handling and facilitates effective, efficient, scalable and reliable supervision of examinations.
