Abstract: Milk quality monitoring plays a vital role in ensuring food safety, protecting public health, and maintaining transparency within the dairy supply chain. Conventional milk testing methods are predominantly manual, time-intensive, and susceptible to inaccuracies and potential data manipulation. To overcome these limitations, the present invention proposes an integrated milk quality monitoring system that utilizes artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technology, and blockchain to provide reliable, secure, and traceable verification of milk quality. The proposed system incorporates multiple Internet of Things-based sensing devices, including pH sensors, temperature sensors, turbidity sensors, and lactometer sensors, for measuring critical parameters that determine milk quality such as acidity level, temperature, density, and purity. These sensors continuously monitor milk samples and collect real-time data, which is automatically transmitted to an application platform for further processing and evaluation. An artificial intelligence-based analytical model processes the collected sensor data to determine the overall quality of the milk by comparing the measured parameters with predefined quality thresholds and classifying the milk into categories such as pure, acceptable, or contaminated. This automated evaluation process improves the efficiency and accuracy of milk quality assessment while minimizing human intervention. To ensure data integrity and transparency, the analyzed quality information is securely recorded within a blockchain-based distributed ledger, enabling the storage of immutable and tamper-resistant records that prevent unauthorized modification or falsification of milk quality data throughout the supply and distribution process. Furthermore, the system generates a unique Quick Response code for each milk batch after the data is stored on the blockchain network. The Quick Response code contains essential information related to the milk quality parameters and the artificial intelligence-generated evaluation results. Consumers, distributors, and quality inspectors can scan the Quick Response code through a mobile application to access verified information regarding the quality and authenticity of the milk. The integration of Internet of Things-enabled sensing technologies, artificial intelligence-driven analytical models, and blockchain-based secure data management provides a comprehensive framework for reliable milk quality monitoring and authentication that enhances traceability, improves transparency, and strengthens trust among farmers, dairy producers, distributors, and consumers within the dairy supply chain.
