Abstract: [041] The present invention relates to an agricultural data analytics system for smart farming. The system comprises field sensing units, an edge gateway, a data normalization engine, an agricultural analytics engine, a recommendation generation module, and a farm equipment control interface. The system collects soil data, environmental data, crop image data, irrigation activity data, nutrient application data, and historical crop records from one or more agricultural plots. The collected data is validated, normalized, assigned to field zones, and processed to determine a crop condition index. Based on the crop condition index, the system generates irrigation recommendations, nutrient recommendations, crop stress alerts, pest risk alerts, disease risk alerts, yield risk indications, and equipment control signals. The edge gateway supports local storage and prioritized communication during intermittent network availability. The system provides explainable recommendations and safety-controlled equipment operation, thereby improving crop monitoring, resource utilization, and technical reliability in smart farming environments.
