MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641113885 A) filed by Anurag University on September 23, 2026, for An Agentic Ai Agricultural Drone For Crop Disease Detection And Precision Spraying.
Inventor includes Maddineni Akhila.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention provides an agentic AI agricultural drone (100) for autonomous crop disease detection and precision spraying. The drone (100) comprises an imaging module (101), an edge-AI processing module (102), an agentic AI decision engine (103), a navigation module (104), a flight controller (105), a precision spray module (106), a communication and monitoring module (107), and a safety and decision validation module (108). The imaging module (101) captures crop images, and the edge-AI processing module (102) detects a crop-disease-affected region and estimates disease severity. The agentic AI decision engine (103) determines a treatment action, identifies a target crop region, and generates a flight route. The flight controller (105) navigates the drone (100) using the navigation module (104). The safety and decision validation module (108) validates operational conditions before the precision spray module (106) applies a spray formulation to the target crop region.
