Abstract: The present invention provides a peri-wound monitoring system for real-time assessment of wound healing parameters. The system comprises sensors configured to measure peri-wound temperature, oxygen saturation (SpO2), tissue perfusion indicators, and wound dimensional parameters, and a processing unit configured to assess tissue perfusion status and wound healing progression. The system enables continuous, localized monitoring for early detection of wound-related complications. The invention is configured to operate independently or in conjunction with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and supports remote monitoring applications. The system is non-invasive and suitable for use in clinical and outpatient wound care settings.
