Abstract: This invention introduces a Digital Evidence Credibility Scoring System (DECSS), which is a computer-based platform used to check whether digital evidence is real and reliable. It can analyse videos, documents, and electronic messages that are used in courts, tribunals, or arbitration cases. Today, with the rise of deepfake technology, Al-generated content, and advanced editing tools, it has become very difficult to trust digital evidence using normal manual methods. This system is designed to solve that problem. The DECSS works using four main parts. The first is the Metadata Integrity Module (MIM), which checks hidden details in files like time, location, and device information to see if everything matches correctly. The second is the Cryptographic Verification Module (CVM), which creates special digital codes (hash values) and compares them with records stored on a blockchain to find out if the file has been changed. The third is the Al-Powered Forensic Analysis Module (AFAM), which uses advanced Al models to detect fake videos (deepfakes), edited documents, and fake message conversations. The last part is the Credibility Scoring Engine (CSE), which combines all the results and gives a final score out of 100
