Abstract: An adjustment unit 200 for aligning an inspection surface 104 to an optical axis of an inspection system 100 is disclosed. The unit 200 comprises a table 102 having machined slots and side wall openings, plurality of eccentric pins 110 received in the slots, each pin 110 including a cylindrical body 300, an eccentric end 302 offset from the body axis, and a drive feature for rotation. A sleeve 306 is mounted with a clearance fit on each eccentric end 302, transmitting vertical displacement to the inspection surface 104 while absorbing horizontal displacement. Independent locking screws 308 are associated with respective pins 110, configured to apply a radial clamping force along the axis of rotation without transmitting torque to the glass. Rotation of the eccentric pins 110 adjusts the vertical height of the inspection surface 104 at discrete support points to align the surface 104 perpendicular to the optical axis.
