MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641092812 A) filed by Aditya University on July 30, 2026, for An Adjustable Spout Garden Watering Can With Gear-Driven Positioning, Flow Regulation And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Dr. K Bapayya Naidu; and Dr. Marxim Rahula Bharathi B.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes an adjustable spout garden watering can (100) comprises a water tank body (102), a spout pipe (110), a flexible spout joint (116), a spout-angle adjustment assembly (118), and a flow-regulation assembly (142). A rotating knob (120) rotate an operating gear (124) that directly drives a first bull gear (126). A second bull gear (128) moves correspondingly through a spout-support linkage comprises the spout pipe (110), inclined plates (132), and hollow tube structures (134). Locking gears (130) retain the spout pipe (110) at a selected angular position. Axial movement of the rotating knob (120) and the shaft (122) disengages the operating gear (124) and displaces a pressing shaft (158) and a slider (144). Pins (150B, 152B) moving along slider slots (154, 156) produce coordinated pivotal movement of opposed flow-control half-plates (146, 148) to vary an open flow area communicating with a water outlet (114).
