The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an adjustable berth designed to provide controlled movement between an upper position and a lower position, enhancing accessibility and user comfort. The adjustable berth comprises a support frame affixed to a structural support, a platform serving as a surface for a user, and pivoting arms connected to the frame via rotatable joints, allowing the platform to move along a predefined arc. Locking hinges positioned at the rotatable joints enable the platform to be secured at specific angles, including intermediate locking positions for customized adjustments. Locking points prevent unintended movement or collapse, ensuring stability during operation. An optional damping or spring mechanism controls the speed of movement, facilitating smoother adjustments. The design of the adjustable berth ensures ease of repositioning, accommodating diverse accessibility requirements while maintaining structural integrity, safety, and user comfort.
