Abstract: An adaptive wearable palpation device (100) is disclosed for delivering controlled therapeutic mechanical stimulation to a target musculoskeletal region. The device (100) comprises a wearable substrate module (110) formed as a flexible multi-layered garment, an actuator module (120) including a distributed matrix of soft actuators (121) configured to generate controlled normal compression and lateral shear displacement, and a sensing module (130) comprising pressure sensors (131) and at least one electromyography sensor (132) configured to generate real-time tissue deformation and neuromuscular response signals. A processing unit (140) computes a tissue resistance parameter based on sensed data, and a force modulation unit (150) dynamically regulates actuator force magnitude, displacement depth, and mechanical impedance accordingly. A safety monitoring unit (160) detects abnormal movement or excessive force conditions and initiates controlled actuator reduction. The processing unit (140) and force modulation unit (150) form a closed- loop biomechanical control system enabling adaptive multi-axis mechanical palpation.
