MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641109904 A) filed by Chennai Institute Of Technology on September 11, 2026, for An Adaptive Multimodal Clinical Intelligence Framework For Context-Aware Preventive Healthcare Decision Support.
Inventors include Mr. G. Muthupandi; Dr. S. Pavithra; Mr. Ramesh R; Mr. Sudeesh K; Mr. Sriram B; and Mr. Vishnu B.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: This invention provides a Multimodal Adaptive Clinical Intelligence Framework for Context-Aware Preventive Healthcare Decision Support system capable of deriving personalized, evidence-based preventive clinical decisions from multimodal heterogeneous health data via a hierarchical clinical intelligence paradigm. It assimilates multimodal physiological measurements, Electronic Health Records, Laboratory test reports, Medication history, Environmental features and Patient clinical parameters, processes these in stages using a suite of standard clinical intelligence representations namely Unified Clinical Observation Packet (UCOP), Clinical Reliability Index (CRI), Longitudinal Health Evolution Profile (LHEP), Personalized Clinical Context Model (PCCM), Unified Health Context Graph (UHCG), Dynamic Clinical Risk Profile (DCRP), Preventive Clinical Decision Matrix (PCDM), Clinical Evidence Trace (CET) and Personalized Preventive Care Plan (PPCP). Unlike the current health solutions, which directly convert the physiological readings into some disease diagnoses or general preventive advices, this invention creates multiple clinical intelligence abstraction layers that progressively add up Data reliability, context comprehension, personal clinical reasoning capability, interpretability, preventive decision intelligence. The invention also presents a synchronized clinical intelligence orchestration that allows all intermediate intelligence representations to continually synchronize together to enable an adaptive health awareness on the dynamic status of the patients. The present invention integrates multimodal context fusion, longitudinal health intelligence, medical evidence-based inference and personalized preventive recommendation generations together into one platform to produce an explainable, modular, scalability and context-aware clinical decision support framework for better preventive health care management in diverse clinical settings.
