Abstract: AN ADAPTIVE MULTI-SENSOR WATER QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM WITH AUTONOMOUS DECISION CONTROL Abstract of the Invention The present invention relates to an adaptive multi-sensor water quality monitoring system with anomaly- filtered baseline modelling and autonomous decision control. The system integrates multiple water quality sensors including pH, turbidity, total dissolved solids (TDS), and electrochemical sensors to continuously monitor water conditions in real time. A microcontroller unit processes the acquired sensor data through signal conditioning and digital conversion. The invention introduces an adaptive baseline modelling mechanism that learns normal water behaviour using only anomaly-free data, ensuring robustness against noise and contamination. An anomaly detection module identifies deviations, sensor faults, and abnormal patterns, while a sensor fusion module improves reliability by combining multiple sensor inputs using weighted scoring. A predictive classification module estimates short-term water quality states. Based on these outputs, an autonomous decision control unit determines actions such as storing, rejecting, or delaying water flow, enabling intelligent, real-time, and context-aware water management for domestic, industrial, and environmental applications.
