The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The self-powered biomedical monitoring contains a biofuel-based energy generation system, microfluidic fuel regulation system, mechatronic actuator power through energy generators, storage energy element, body fluids sensors and wireless communication. The system uses a biofuel as an input energy source and leverages microfluidic delivery from the inlet channel to a liquid-powered biofuel energy-generation unit equipped with actuated microvalve. This processing controller determines the instant energy consumption of sensing, signal processing and wireless transmission and creates a control signal that dynamically controls biofuel flow. The produced electric energy is processed, stored and delivered to the biomedical monitoring & communication modules. It consists of a feedback loop that monitors the generated power, stored energy, at fuel-flow condition and system status to determine energy generation and consumption. This architecture enables demand-driven biofuel utilization, operational synergy between energy management and coordinated wireless biomedical sensing which provides a compact platform for wearable and portable healthcare applications with application to next-generation self-powered biomedical systems.
