Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an adaptive lightweight lattice structure generation and optimization system (100) configured to generate functionally graded lattice architectures for lightweight structural applications. The system comprises a lattice modeling module, a functional grading module, a hybrid unit-cell generation module, a load-path optimization module, a reinforcement module, a porosity control module, a lattice integration module, a structural optimization module, and an output module. The system generates hybrid lattice structures having region-wise adaptive density, interconnected diagonal reinforcement pathways, hexagonal reinforcement members, and bio-inspired porous channels. Finite element analysis is utilized to determine stress distribution for modifying lattice density, unit-cell orientation, porosity, and strut thickness according to localized loading conditions. The optimized lattice architecture is compatible with additive manufacturing processes and exhibits improved strength-to-weight ratio, enhanced load-bearing capability, reduced material consumption, superior energy absorption characteristics, and optimized structural efficiency for biomedical, aerospace, automotive, and other engineering applications. The figure associated with abstract is Fig. 1.
