Abstract: The present invention discloses an adaptive Generative AI system for personalized language learning that increases student language practice through dynamic prompt generation. A learner modelling engine maintains a learner state vector representing mastery of vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and fluency, along with engagement, affect and interests. At every turn, a dynamic prompt generation engine composes a prompt from this state and a template bank, targeting difficulty slightly above the learner's level and embedding weak items for spaced review. Generated content is validated for level alignment and safety. Learner speech and text are analysed for pronunciation, grammar and fluency. A practice-maximization controller monitors the Student Talk Ratio and adapts prompts to elicit more learner output, while a reward-based policy optimizer and affect-aware feedback continuously personalize learning.
