Abstract: AN ADAPTIVE FOUNDATION AND SOIL STABILIZATION APPROACH FOR SLOPED RESIDENTIAL SITES IN EXPANSIVE SOIL ENVIRONMENTS Constructing residential buildings on sloped expansive soils presents severe geotechnical and structural challenges, notably differential settlement and slope instability. Conventional isolated engineering practices fail to address these coupled threats. This invention introduces a fully integrated slope-adaptive foundation and soil stabilization system to bridge this gap. The solution synergizes a hybrid soil stabilization matrix comprising lime, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), and wood ash; with a stepped foundation layout conforming to the natural terrain. An interconnecting grade beam network provides dynamic multi-level load redistribution, converting eccentric forces into balanced, uniform stresses. By merging geotechnical improvement and structural design into a unified workflow, this zero-excavation approach delivers a robust, adaptable, and cost- effective foundation solution for complex hillside environments.
