Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptive context aware multimodal communication system and method for facilitating seamless real time communication between hearing impaired and other individuals. The invention integrates speech recognition, computer vision, natural language processing, contextual semantic reasoning, multimodal feature fusion, adaptive machine learning and Indian Sign Language (ISL) generation and recognition within a unified communication framework. The system receives speech and gesture inputs, performs semantic interpretation, generates a multimodal representation, and translates information into speech, text, or ISL while preserving conversational context. An adaptive learning engine continuously improves translation accuracy using communication history and user interactions. The system supports multilingual communication, personalized translation models, smartphone deployment, hybrid edge cloud processing and offline operation. The invention eliminates the need for specialized wearable devices while improving accessibility, translation accuracy, communication efficiency, and real time interaction across healthcare, education, workplaces, public services and everyday communication.
