Abstract: AN ADAPTIVE, ENERGY-ABSORBING STEERING WHEEL A highly advanced steering wheel system defined by its adjustable grip segments (120), actuator-based movement mechanism (160), mechanical locking system (111), lightweight structural core (170), and optional sensor integration (150). The key contribution of this invention is the provision of a steering wheel capable of dynamic, real-time geometric adjustment paired with secure mechanical locking. This innovative approach vastly enhances driver comfort, continuous control, and, most importantly, critical safety when compared to conventional, static steering wheel designs.
